Introducing Friendly Themes

Friendly Themes is a collaboration between design extraordinaire Andy Chipperfield (site) and WordPress developer Richard Tape (this site!). The aim is simple: to create the very best WordPress themes backed up with outstanding support. Every theme will be cross-browser compatible, work with versions of WordPress 3.0 and above, be mobile-optimised and come with, quite simply, the best admin options panel on the market today.

We’re both really excited about our first upcoming theme ‘Mercury’ which will be closely followed by a unique one-page template called ‘Venus’ (You can probably see where we’re going with the naming convention for the first 8 themes in our arsenal).

Mercury should be released towards the middle of May (over on Themeforest) with Venus coming hot on its heals at the start of June.
